Objection and representation deadline wording on A&D entries — reading only
When a neighbour haulier or trade association opens the weekly Applications & Decisions PDF, the urgent line is often “representations by …” or “objections invited”. The literacy task is to read which deadline applies to which entry type, and not to confuse weekly A&D rows with standalone written decisions. Not objection advocacy and not licensing advice.
Objection vs representation labels
Published entries may say:
- Objections invited — common on new applications and authorisation increases.
- Representations — may appear on variations affecting operating centres.
- No objections received — decision section after the window closed.

Application types and objection invites
- New application — often invites representations — new application vs variation.

Status words after the window
“Granted”, “Refused”, “No objections” appear in decision sections — A&D status words, refused in part wording. A passed deadline does not appear as a countdown; read the decisions block for outcome.
